Aug/Sep 2020 Prayer Letter

Dear Praying Friends,

The past couple months have been a whirlwind it seems for my family and I. We have been blessed as a family in so many ways and would like to just take moment to thank God. As you all know from our previous prayer letters my wife was expecting our son Oliver the first part of September. Oliver Cade Robinson decided to come a few weeks early though, and was born on August 19. He was a healthy 7 lbs 13 oz and 19 inches long, and has been growing like a weed ever since. His sister is loving to be with the little guy, and it has been a nice addition to the family. I just thank the Lord for His mercy and the blessings He has given to us.

Deputation has been going well and we are excited to see God’s provision for daily needs. Thankfully our fall schedule has been booked out so we are able to focus on meetings for next year. The past couple months, we have had several churches pledge to partner with us in our support to go to Zambia. Thank you to all those that have been so faithful in supporting us. We are excited to see how God is providing. We are hoping to finish up deputation next year, Lord willing, so pray for the Lord’s leading as we schedule meetings.

Please continue to keep my upcoming trip to Zambia in your prayers. This trip is very important as I am currently working on getting my documentation together in order to stay as a missionary in Zambia. This trip will help us to set up all the necessary documents as well as give us a more secure way of staying in the country. Once I get this done, we could go to Zambia as a missionary pretty much as soon as support is raised so we wouldn’t be delayed by all the processes. I was trying to use the downtime from Covid and the baby being born wisely, and God seemed to open the doors that we needed. Sometimes we just have to wait on the Lord. Psa 27:14 “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

I would like to encourage all our praying friends to just continue to pray for Africa as things begin to open back up overseas. Our brothers and sisters in Zambia have been able to hold services and God is still working. There are still souls being saved and men being called into the ministry. No matter how confusing this world may seem, at least we have the pure Word of God to guide us. We can be confident that no matter what happens in the world today, we have the blessed hope of an eternity in heaven. We may not know tomorrow, but we know Who holds tomorrow, and therefore we can be secure in knowing that God is in control.

Thankful for your prayers - Caleb, Abby, Rosalie, and Oliver Robinson
